Cyrus often comes off as just a bit of a mischief maker at first, but he's potentially highly dangerous as most of his attempts to interact are all hunting attempts- He almost always kills his target, draining them of blood, but some are lucky and live after. He'll go after animal blood if needed but rather attack more sapient life for the "fun".

Cyrus changes his name over the years as he feels he needs a new one to "stay with the times". Despite trying to be hip and cool for the kids he absolutely sounds like some old man with his ramblings about "back in my day" except it's a million years ago and he has so many things to talk about.

Backstory

Cyrus is a now long extinct species- not counting him, called Xirlyns. No one has really noticed what he is as all the modern interpretations are horribly inaccurate. He finds this funny and enjoys seeing what they change next. He currently calls them "dehydrated sphinx cats". He is sterile after his long life so hybrids of this species are also impossible, his species is fucking DEAD BRO.

Cyrus was captured and injected with a substance from a monster that turned him vampiric. Cyrus is one of the first vampires in fact. Back then he was able to control himself by feeding on animals and not the others. But eventually a disease infected and killed every member of the already struggling species, except Cyrus who can't become ill. He had tried to run away with his partner, but several days later it was found they already had been infected and became ill and died soon after. Despite it being a million years ago, he still misses his first partner and he will sometimes ramble about them. Cyrus eventually went a bit mad over the next few hundred years...And then thousands. He mostly stayed within the same location and didn't find any other sapient life for a long time, only having interactions with animals and monsters. He became a bit animalistic as he felt no need to act more civilized. Until he finally found other sapient life and tried to fit in at first. But not long after he started to hunt them down as it was fun for him. Some sick form of entertainment to him. And he carried on with this behavior.

After meeting and falling for Hero, he's been trying to act a bit better for him. But better might just involve not killing and instead leaving people unconscious after a bit of screaming. Well he's trying, I guess.
