She's the ancient guardian of a temple who was turned in to a stone statue that would awaken if there was ever an intruder. However the people one day left and they never woke her, and thus abandoned her. All the contents of the temple had been taken along, and she wasn't even protecting anything anymore except a decaying, empty stone temple. She's still struggling to process being abandoned and, as she sees it, trapped in the wrong time.
