Vyce is very friendly and a bit hyper when meeting new people, wanting to befriend nearly anyone he meets. He has some odd mannerisms and behavior that he doesn't realize is weird to others and will get upset or confused if someone says anything about it. He often stays in the forest and hunts for monsters to kill and eat, but also keeps an eye out for travelers. He will excitedly help people pass through the forest by protecting them and showing them the best paths to stay hidden from monsters.

Vyce most often can be seen exploring and investigating random things or taking naps up in trees. He loves shiny things and WILL take them. Hide your jewelry. Vyce will humor nearly any conversation and behavior in hopes of making a new friend, though he does get a bit mentally drained doing this. Vyce also loves getting attention, pls give him complements and head pats. He has almost no social skills due to how he was raised.

Backstory

Vyce was born and raised at the base area near stormy mountain. His parents lived in a small cabin and lived off the land instead of interacting with others. At the age of 6, Vyce's parents went off to hunt but then never returned...Vyce went out to look for them, and only found their bodies mangled and eaten on by monsters. Vyce's parents had taught him how to fend for himself already at a young age, and warned him one day something could happen to them out there, but he never expected both at once to be killed. For the first week, he mostly hid in the cabin, using what resources they already had, but then he eventually ventured out and started to hunt for himself. He learned to hide well and keep himself alive, and when he was older he found he was strong enough to kill small monsters with his own hands and fangs...And a bit of magic at times. This is how he decided to get revenge on the monsters for killing his parents, by making the monsters in to dinner.

By the time Vyce was an adult, the cabin was in a bad state, and instead of fixing it, he wanted to travel to a new place...And to find others. He passed through many locations before eventually settling near Gemfall in the cursed forest. Despite everything, Vyce is almost always in a good mood, living life the best he can.

• Shadow manipulation. Can make physical shadow limbs/objects.
• Can dive in to and swim in/as a shadow.
• Can wrap his tail tightly around others and objects to keep them in place or drag them.
• Eye sclera can go from white to black.
• Markings, flesh, and teeth/claws/horn can glow.

• Eye sclera most commonly change to black when hunting or agitated but not always.
• He can optionally walk on all fours but it's a bit awkward, his natural position is upright.
• He stands hunched over a lot and he's very flexible.
• Would actually rather eat normal food than monster meat.
